Katie Greenwood

Senior Medical Aesthetician

Katie has been a member of the team for over 4 years and has a background in beauty therapy.  She has continued to develop her role, and now a senior Aesthetician at Blemish Clinic and has been clinically supervised by Jan. After attending multiple external courses Katie is now our in-clinic expert Venipuncturist. Katie’s knowledge of skin makes her a unique and an invaluable member of the team. One thing that sets Katie apart from the rest, is her dedication to ensuring each of her patients have a tailor made programme to suit their specific skin needs.

Katie has been working closely with Jan to help develop a new innovative treatment to target stubborn acne prone skin. She travels to London regularly to educate other medical practitioners, offering her practical knowledge and experience in the application of GlycoAla Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) in the treatment of Acne.

Not only does Katie focus her energy on skin, but she is also an advanced laser technician, she is able to conduct all laser treatment which includes, skin rejuvenation, skin pigmentation, laser hair removal, laser resurfacing and illumifacials.

She is continually striving to develop her skills at Blemish Clinic so she can offer the most up-to-date treatments She recently trained in the Focus Dual, the benefits of this treatment include skin tightening, contouring, lifting, and firming for face neck and body.

"Having suffered with acne prone skin since a teenager. I understand how it can affect people’s confidence. I am very sensitive to their needs and strive to help them achieve a solution to their problem".

Jenna Elbourn

Nurse Practitioner

Jenna qualified as a nurse in 2017 and has mainly worked in emergency departments caring for critically unwell patients since. She joined Blemish Clinic as a Nurse practitioner along side her NHS role in March 2022. Prior to nursing Jenna worked for 10 years as a beauty therapist at a luxury beauty salon in Cheshire providing bespoke skincare treatments. Jenna has decided the time is right to combine her skills and move full time in to aesthetics.

Jenna is passionate about providing the highest quality anti-aging treatments with a personal and bespoke approach to patient care. Jenna regularly attends training sessions to ensure her skills are of the highest standard and has recently completed further advanced training for anti wrinkle and dermal filler Treatments. She is excited about enhancing the patient journey with new innovative treatments and being the lead nurse for our new wellness service, helping our patients feel their best on the inside and look their best on the outside.

Carmen Jefferson

Clinic Coordinator

Carmen joined Blemish clinic in January 2022 as clinic coordinator with 28 years experience in a customer focused environment working with a large high street bank in various roles. Carmen has a keen interest in aesthetics and skin, she is dedicated to ensuring that all patients at Blemish feel comfortable, welcome and safe in a caring environment whilst receiving exceptional customer service.

Emma Faulkner

Clinic Coordinator

Emma Joined Blemish Clinic at the beginning of September 2022 moving from a long term role as a Key Accounts Manager with over 15 years of experience of transferable skills, Emma likes to deliver the highest standards of customer service with an extreme attention to detail, she always looks to provide exceptional levels of care and support to all patients and colleagues.

Dr Andrew Winter

Dermatology Consultant MBChB, DRCOG, DGM, MRCGP, MRCP

Dermatologist since 1988, initially a GP, now Dr Winter has been a full time Dermatologist for 10 years. He is trained in advanced dermatology surgery and has been a cosmetic dermatologist since 1995.

Mr Giuseppe Serpieri MD

Vascular Surgeon

Mr Giuseppe Serpieri is a highly respected vascular surgeon who specialises in a range of cosmetic procedures such as cosmetic vein surgery and thread lifts. Mr Serpieri is internationally renowned for his development and use of innovative techniques and technology and is one of very few surgeons who offer procedures using super glue as a closer of the veins.

Mr Serpieri was awarded his MD in 1986 and attained a specialist qualification as a cardiac and vascular surgeon in 1991 at the University of Turin. In 1995, he invented the transilluminated endovenous laser coagulation technique (TELC), a cutting edge treatment for varicose veins that is now widely used.

Mr Serpieri lectures post-graduate masters students of aesthetic medicine at the University of Pavia, Italy. His research interests focus on innovative technology for leg, foot and hand vein care, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques as well as 'soft' cosmetic procedures for the face and body.
